You can get a copy of this person's original application (SS-5) for their SS number from the SSA. It should have parent's info, address, etc. The form you need is here:

You want the photocopy, not the computer extract. There is a fee of $27 or $29 depending if you provide the person's SS #, or not.

I am trying to find my husband's biological father. It does say he passed away in 2008. I cannot get any other information on where he is buried or what happened to him due to my husband was adopted at a very young age and has no proof this was his biological father. He was last known to have lived in Clearwater fl. Can someone please help me. Thank you kelly

If you provide a name and possibly birth date someone may be able to help you.

In some states, the death certificates may not be available to the public. I seem to recall Florida being one of those states.
