I was a daddy's girl, you know? I can suppress urges to find him sometimes, but other times it drives me crazy. I just wanna talk to him."

Are you prepared to be rejected if you do find him? He has his own reasons for why he doesn't contact you and his brothers and sisters probably do know where he is! It's really hard to accept things we don't want to accept. He is probably not able to be a good parent to you and he knows it.

It may be best for you to not keep going back to that dry well.

But good luck in what ever you decide and try to prepare yourself for the worst if you can.

I agree, she should prepare for the worst.. but with men, who knows.
Some are more of an "out of sight, out of mind"
I know a lot of men that wouldn't fight the ex to see kids with a divorce; they figured they would see the kid if the kid wanted to when they got older.

Hard to say what he's thinking.

Yes, I understand that. And trust, I am a 'big girl'. I've had my share of low blows in life. I'ma trooper, though. Thank you for the advice, however. My oldest brother (25) passed away and I really just wanted to let him know that. I'm not sure if a relationship with him is what I have in mind. I'd be ok with a short conversation, and a goodbye, rather than what I got the last time.

That WAS my dad's phone number, but it's from maybe 7 years ago. Thanks though. He lived on Brook Rd with his 2nd wife.

Have you tried the phone number recently? I do see it is a currently active land line (albeit unlisted, same for the address).
