From my experience most police officers keep their phone numbers unlisted.

Most of us will not search, post, or give out information on police, prison workers or judges, for the obvious reasons.

If you are a friend of a retired police officer, you can try sending a letter with your contact info to that department and requesting they forward it to him. If he wants contact, he can contact you.
But I agree with hcgCali. I don't search for any law enforcement people. I also will not search or give out information on any entertainment people (stalking is not okay). And I don't help minors search or search for minors.
