Hi! I am new here and found this place by accident. I am looking for anyone who may work there or know of someone who does. I am trying to find out some info on an old friend who I just learned has past away way too young. Kenneth Mcgilton. If anyone has any kind of info or knows the name of the local newspaper, that would be fab! Or anyone who may know him. He last lived in Middlebourne? Thanks!

Hi...I live in Middlebourne & I have family members that worked at Ormet. I do not recognize the name you mentioned but there is a county newspaper here you might call. They have an online version of the paper but I don't recall it providing obituaries online. But you might call & ask for the info. It is called Tyler Star News. The funeral home in Middlebourne is Furbees Funeral Home. Hope this has helped you some.

Default Ken

Hi guys,

I believe I knew Ken pretty well, Only I knew him by his screen name. I know it is kind of wierd, but Ken, me, and all of his "online friends" hung out quite a bit. It was really shocking to hear he was gone... Not sure I will ever forget him.

I knew Kenny since he was just a little kid. I also know his family very well. I worked with him at Ormet. Kenny took his own life. We went on strike at Ormet and it lasted for 20 months. At the end of the strike the closed our plant. It was then that he committed suicide.
