Default Looking for Birth Family

My husband was born in 1952 in Norwich, New York (Chenango Mem. Hosp.) & adopted as a baby. He has a sister born in 1947. We have no names to work with. His birth parents were married but separated at the time he was born. They couldn't afford to keep him. If this sounds familiar to anyone please respond, & thanks for reading this! (Closed records won't allow him to see his original birth certificate with names.)

He could petition the courts to have his records unsealed.
Good luck!

Thank you, Chromekitty. He did try that recently - we were trying for "medical reasons" but they didn't go for it. It's sad, since his parents are getting quite elderly & the chance of finding them gets less every year. Appreciate your suggestion.
