I received word last week that my friend had passed away, but not from a credible source. I want to know the truth...here is what I have:

Michael Ryan Nuland
Beverly Hills, CA
DOB 7/27/1985
Apparent drowning on or around 10/23/09.

I called the LA county morgue and they did not have a record of him, but also stated not all deceased residents come through the morgue.

Are there friends or relatives that live(d) near him? It may be a matter of a simple phone call.
A death certificate should have been issued which typically is public info.
Have you checked the obituaries in area newspapers?
