the only thing i know of your mother is she is a murder victim in a crime magazine story printed in 1978. i read the story and since i live in florida i took interest in it and googled facts from the story and found your post. i hope you were able to find the things your heart searched for.

Her name sounds so familiar, didn't Edna Buchanan write about her in one of her books?

Yes Edna had devoted a chapter in her book "Never Let Them See You Cry'" to my search for my biological brothers. My mother Johanna was murdered in Miami in 1961. I had two brothers in the Everglades that Edna was able to locate for me.

What an interesting but tragic story. I hope you are able to connect with someone who might have known your mother.
