Hello, my name is Jeff Kleparek and I am a History Hunter, Treasure Hunter, or Metal Detectorist if you will. I have been searching some land around a historic area known as Brattonsville S.C. A small Revolutionary battle took place in the area known as Hucks Defeat. Over the last few years I have located what may be a campsite where union soilders were stationed during the reconstruction period following the Civil War. Several buttons and a sword belt plate have been found in addition to some WW1 and WW2 artifacts. last year a brass licence was found with the name of Andrew Boukedes. D---as pace Spartanburg SC 5-10-30 48487 6-22-33.
It also lists on the back white male 36 back brown 195.
Through some search on the internet I have located some limited Obituary information and a Social Security number. The Obituary info reads Andrew Boukedes Formerly Spartanburg H/O (Husband of) Juanolo Boukedes 4-14-61. This info was found on Spartanburg Herald and Herald Journal Obituaries 1961. As far as Social security info I has his birth date listed as November 30th 1898. SSN# 251-10-5810.
I would really like to present this piece of history to the family and try to get some information on why this licence was found where it was. I have gone as far as I can due to limited knowledge and I am hoping someone can help me locate any family members. Thanks in advance for your help.
