Jan would be in her seventies now. When I knew her in the 1960s she lived in Hot Springs, was a frequent patron of the Black Orchid Lounge, and when it was converted into a burlesque house (in the late 60's or early 70's), she became a featured dancer. I would like to say a final "Thank You" for an incredible kindnes which I still can't forget. As I am 84 years old, I don't have much time. Everything I have tried thus far has come up empty. If anybody can give me any clues as to how I might locate her, I'd be everlastingly grateful. You can Email me direct at jwrites4u@aol.com . Thank you.
I Need Help Regarding Hot Springs in the 1960s/1970s
Hi: My name is Jeff Lewis. I need to make contact with anybody who lived in Hot Springs during the 60s & 70s and was very familiar with the Black Orchid Lounge, both while it was still a lounge and after it was converted into a burlesque house in either the late 1960s or the early 1970s. I carry a very heavy burden that insists on growing heavier as I grow older, and I have finally come to the realization that I must close the book on it before I die. As I am 84 years old, that doesn't give me much time, so I shall be everlastingly grateful to anyone who can (and is willing to) give me any assistance that will move me one step closer to my finding cloture by helping me to trace and locate the lady whom I seek. If you wish, you may Email me direct to jwrites4u@aol.com . Thank you
