[Looking 4 Ancestors]

I am looking for ancestors of an Ethel Williams. The only information I have about her is that she was born in South West City, Missouri about 1879. She married a Charles Mellott (sp?) and had a daughter named Rose Francis who was born about 1900 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Feel free to email me with any information. Ethel would be my great-great grandmother. Any help is really appreciated as I have not been able to locate anything on her or her husband Charles. Thank you.

I do not know about Ethel Williams, but I bought a Bible on ebay a while back that has scripted in beautiful calligraphy,
"May 15, 1894 To Ethel from her teacher Lillie. Happy may thy birthday be." The front of the Bible is inscribed with the name Ethel Williams. If it is the same Ethel Williams that would make her 15 in 1894. Do you know the month and day the your great-great grandmother was born on? Hello, my grandmothers name was Ethel Mae Collins Williams. She was also born in Southwest City, MO and moved to the Muskogee area. I have some information on her if this is the same one. I have just moved to Southwest City and still have boxes packed but will look up her death notice to remember her approximate DOB. She was born a Collins and married her first husband with some children (I believe 3, 2 of which died)her husband also died and later married my grandfather Calvin Lee Williams and had at least 9 more children.

I know a Ethel Williams and I know that it isnt the same one but my Ethel Williams was barried in an African American graveyard and was born September 22, 1913 and died January 24, 1923 she is barried in Fayetteville, North Carolina. If there is any way that our Ethel Williams are related then please let me know.
