I am a California Wife, my husband went to Texas to seek employment, about a year and half ago. I found out that he is living in Bedford, TX and now has another woman. I have three kids, been married 23 years, care for/live with my elderly parents, I also am ill. I have not had financial help since he left. I am looking for information on him so I may file for divorce and child support etc. If you know anything about him , please help....Thanks

Sent my Son to Bedford for the Christmas Holiday to visit his Dad. Dad kept him, and no custody order. I am in California. I Miss my Son so very much and I want him home. Anyone been through this??? Any help out there??? Son has been in my custody since Dad left in 2007, child support order in effect, me as custodial parent.
I hope you have taken care of this by now, but in case you haven't, here's another bit of advice. The others are right on - you must have an attorney deal with this for you. If you can't afford one, contact your local bar association to find free or low-cost representation. If there is a university with a law school near you, contact them. Law schools usually have free law clinics. Good luck to you.

Get an attorney and I would go get my child. Is the child in danger from his father ? You must act ASAP.
The kid needs some MALE/FATHER connection abeit it for only a short time.
Give the kid a break...he will come around eventually.
