My cousin was adopted in 1976. Her mother's name was Delia Lozada and her father was Gerry Cheung. Both parents have passed and my grandmother who will be 93 years old on March 17, 2010 is ailing and we are not sure how much time she has left. It would be such a gift from God if she could find the granddaughter she always yearned for since her adoption in 1976. Her name at the time was Tara Cheung and her birthday is 9/19/74. It could be 9/17 or 9/18 but I think it's the 19th. If anyone knows who she is or Tara, if you are looking for your family, you have an entire family of aunts, uncles and cousins living in Florida who would feel so blessed if they could find you. Please contact me immediately if you feel that I am your cousin. We lost your mother when she was only 49 years old, she never had any other children and finding you would bring so much joy to our family. Please, anyone who might fit this description or knows a beautiful young lady who is half chinese and half Puerto Rican and is turning 36 years old in September....please, please, please contact me immediately.

I realize it is 3 years since this was originally posted, but if by chance you are still monitoring the site - Tara (now Carla Tara) is my sister. She now lives in the San Francisco area with her husband and three children. We grew up in New York with our adoptive parents and three older brothers. Carla and I are only 6 months apart and very close (best friends). We were very sad to hear of her birth mother's passing and hope that her grandmother is still doing okay (coincidentally, she has the same birthday as me March 17th!). Carla was connected to this posting as well as Mildred Lozada Gartrell's facebook account and has sent a message to her via facebook. I hope you are able to connect with her soon as I am sure you have much to discuss and lots of catching up to do!
