I was in the Army in the late 70's-stationed at Ft. Shafter Hawaii in the 652nd. Engr. Batallion. I met a friend guy named Phillip Haas who I think was from Hazen, North Dakota. He came to Hawaii from Ft. Bragg NC. He was a sky diver and owned an International Scout-one of the earliest SUV's. We became good friends, but I lost track of him when I completed my enlistment in August of 1978. I think he had about a year left to go in teh Army at that point.

I have another skydiver friend who jumped with him in the mid 80's in the Boulder CO area, but couldn't provide any more info.

Any help in locating him would be appreciated.

Thanks for the suggestion-I think Phil would be between 50 and 52 now.

Default Phill Haas

I met a Phil Haas a few weeks ago in Boulder Colorado--really nice guy, tall in his fifties or so. Lives off of HWY 36 heading towards Lyons CO. He just put a for sale sign up. I think the HWY is also called HWY 7. Hope this helps.

Mary Linn,
Found him thanks to your help-and contacted him just yesterday. Hadn't spoken with him in 29 years-wow. Thanks again!
