Default Tracing my heritage from Orange, Va.

First off: if I am in violation of a Forum rule with the above post; I want the Administrator/Moderator to give me a heads-up.

Long story short: I am a ex DC boy who left there for California/Arizona almost 30 years ago...........

Come to find out: my maternal grandmother's family is from the Orange, Virginia area according to Ancestry.com. as well as family stories.

If at all possible; could someone who may be reading this post either reply here and/or PM me if they have deep historical knowledge of the Orange area?

I have a list of surnames and some first names that may help.

Regards;

Bear in Az

you might want to try the people search forum. Not saying we won't help you but some of the people on there are pretty amazing at finding things, probably more amazing than we are (Its hard to believe, I know!)
