Perhaps I should try this a different way, and am open to suggestions if you have a better idea. We all have had different experiences in life and so can offer advice and provide lessons for one another. There is a reason we each choose to take the actions we do. When our interests differ, many times it is due to our varying experiences. Please share your interests and some background as to why you have those interests and I will share my own.
I realize this could be held in a more open forumn, but then it becomes less personal and meaningful. It doesn;t matter if you are married or not, if this interests you, please reply or offer a suggestion.
Perhaps an example in my current life will help. I recently observed someone walking to work on the street barefoot. This gentleman appeared normal in every way, except he had no socks or shoes on. Of course I was intrigued. Why would someone do such a thing and how much confidence must this person have to not care what others are thinking about his actions?
A few days later (yesterday) I went to a bookstore and asked an employee for non-fiction suggestions. One of his suggestions was Born To Run. He explained it was about how running while wearing sneakers, as opposed to barefoot, actually causes more injuries. Hmmm. Perhaps the man I observed had foot problems and was testing this theory? I then looked down at the bookstore employees feet and noticed he was not wearing shoes, just socks. I had to buy the book.
We make decisions everyday based on our past experiences. I am interested in why you have made some of the decisions you have made today. Why do you buy what you buy, eat what you eat, and say what you say, and google what you google. Please enlighten me.
