Oh no ! ....Well honestly , the coffee can idea works well on Holidays , weekends , and you know it will be there unless the dog digs it up

I wish! All her children knew about it, and their kids -- and she taught my husband a lot about coins...

It's now a treasure hunt story in his family.... and in my family we have a treasure hunt story, too -- of robbers that stole gold and buried it somewhere on the old farmstead.

My cousin said she sneaks up there every ince in a while and pokes around .

Makes me think every family has a treasure hunt story....

Check with the CU for other types of savings accounts. Mine has a regular 'share' account, but also have money market accounts, at least at my CU has a higher minimum balance else they access a service fee.
