Our minor children get monthly SS checks because their Dad is over 65. When he dies will they receive more money, same or less. He is still working and paying into SS but he also gets SS. Do they draw SS only on the income of the parent with the most income?
Also I am 64 and started receiving SS at 62. When my husband dies what happens to his SS check? Will I receive mine and his or somewhere in between?
On the husband you will have a choice on which is great amount;not both. As to the children that is limited and best that social secutirty answer your specific case.
