Credit card companies would really like to have that minimum payment from you and they're earning as you buy more time from them. So it's your obligation to pay back the principal amount and stop paying the interest on it. There after, if you're able to prepare a budget, you'll be able to save and create a fund for your future security.

U can't enjoy life with debt. I think its time to cash in on the options. 35k debt can turn into 70k in a year, and with the economy being ran into the ground I think its a good idea to get out of the stock market anyway while u can still come out ahead. U know u can get out of debt now, but will u be able to in the future? Not if u waite to long, the chances get slimmer and slimmer. If America was on the path to recovery it would be different. Ur money isn't working for u if its going towards creditcards. Take advantage of those options u have, many people aren't fortunate to have other means to pay off debt. When u pay it off u can get back in if u desire.

Paying the minimum due is the same thing as continuing to run the card up. A responsible person pays it all off as soon as possible. If u don't do this it can ruin ur credit as well. I left a big balance and those minimum payments I made lowered my credit line in half. I say pay it off and throw all those cards away, u only need one or two of them. I don't keep any in my wallet anymore. All it does is keep my wallet empty of cash because my cash is going for interest. U might as well start a campfire and burn 450 to keep warm.
