The latest money maker for local police and their townships is the " No turn on red" sign at intersections. We had one added at an intersection and I've made the turn anyway a few times. The other night I saw two police cars staking out the light.
A local reporter was hit up for a $100 fine and did a pretty scathing story on it. I could let it go, but we have literally dozens( maybe a hundred) of handicapped parking spaces in the township and these get abused daily. The township police could go after these law breakers and be doing a public service.

I see you have fallen for the wing nut conspiracy theory that city traffic police are there primarily to collect revenue for the city rather than to serve and protect.
