I am holding an account with Bank Of America and they gave 3 checks initially. For more i need to buy them. I checked on their website and seems that minimum amount i will have to shell out is like 20$+. So i wanted to ask whether there are any other options to get the check book(s) at a lower price.
Through a advertisement flyer in my mailbox i got to know about the following website

www.citmnews.com

Is it reliable to buy from such third party websites ? Need advice on how to get my check books. Thanks in advance. Help appreciated.

I just printed 90 on my printer using Vista Check from 2003.
To get rid of the blank checks.
They work fine. Cost me the printer ink.

Here is a place to get low cost checks.
Huge Savings on Checks- 99 cent Second Box of Personal Checks, 4th Box Free

If you want to create your own, such as Vista Checks, the newest software is on Ebay but it is expensive.

I've always been given about 10 "starter" checks to open an account.

Call around, there may be a bank that will give you your first supply of 100 for no cost.

I'm not the one to ask -- since I write so few checks, I decided that they HAD to be wonderful, whatever the cost....

This is what I use....

Checkworks Personal Checks - Signs of the Times Personal Checks

And I buy extra check registers from Checks Unlimited....

All kinds of better deals out there. I too, use Checks In The Mail. Great deal, fast turnaround time.

^^I used the free shipping, non trackable. How much time i can expect before my package arrives ?
Also do they just put it in mailbox and go or they deliver it at home ? Is it through normal USPS service ?

About 10 days. Most of the "FREE" shipping use Fedex-SmartPost or UPS-Basic. Fedex/UPS moves the package, thru there system. Then dump it in the USPS @ your post office for final delivery to your home, They do this at BulkMail prices, So the mailer can do it for "FREE" But it does move slower then normal Fedex/UPS/USPS they move it when they have open space in trucks, and time to sort it. But they seem to have the system down, to about 7-10 day accross the US.
