Let me get this straight, you purchased a $700.00 TV with a credit card, and you still owe $700.00? How long ago did you buy the TV?

With a nest egg of the equivalent of $17 per week for each week the average unemployed person is out of work right now. 40.5 weeks.

Even if the 8 weeks are up I have a feeling i will be transferred somewhere else because of my working relationship with my boss.

The TV was $350. I did a lot of dating related activities with my CC which was foolish and I won't be doing it again because my CC is no longer in my wallet.

That is potentially good news. Hope you are correct.

Is that the lady who stopped texting and calling when you told her you lost your previous job?

Have you put a dent in the credit card debt, or are you just paying the minimum amount required? Seems like you might have to forfeit more than dining out and dating.

I stopped calling and texting her because my money was not the same.

Back when I was on active duty a series of screw ups that I eventually had to request Mast to the Gen of the Division to get fixed occurred and I went just over 6 months without a paycheck.

Thanks to my savings I was able to live like normal (Although I will admit I was getting nervous there towards the end)

After that, I ramped it up. I've thought about not worrying about it, since I get a Gov't retirement check now, but I can't help it and it's not a bad thing to have.

Like you know, and keep denying (too loudly) security is a good thing.

TVSG"Even if the 8 weeks are up I have a feeling i will be transferred somewhere else because of my working relationship with my boss."

That would be good news, but while one should hope for the best, one should brace for the worst scenario, which would be the above not happening. Second, are sister corps in any better shape than yours? After all, this is your second org within the family? I ask partly because its not uncommon when ones parent owns several under it, for there to be multiple disfunctional subsidiaries whenever there is one. I used to work for a for profit employer with a VP who batted 1.000. If he sought to buy a company and managed to do so, we could be sure it was the Hindenberg of decisions; he never failed to be wrong.
