I usually have around $100 on me. Just bills neatly folded and in my front jeans pocket along with change.

I pay for almost everything with a credit card, if over ten bucks, but I like knowing I have the cash along in case I need it---which I rarely do. Like if I have to give a farmer $20 to tow me out of a ditch, or go by a yard sale. You never know.

I rarely have much over $30 in my wallet. It's used for things like lunch at work, a bottle of water at break, the car wash...anything under $10 I pay cash. I use my debit card for most things and, once in while, my credit card but never for anything under $10 and preferably more. I had to put .93 on my debit card one day last week because the self checkout refused to take my cash! Ticked me off. I'd feel uncomfortable carrying around $100 but I don't need to. And I keep track of all my cash spending.

I always have a least $500 in my wallet. It's for emergencies...

Me too. It's one of those old 20s with the little tiny oval picture of Andrew Jackson on it. Been there all this time.
