Default Check to pay my CPA was #1040!

I received the bill from my CPA yesterday, so I grabbed my checkbook to write him a check...

I started filling everything out, then looked to see what the next check number was and it was number 1040!

What are the odds of that happening?

Then I had lots of fun taking that check to my CPA's office. The lady there said I should quick go buy a lottery ticket.

Funny how that stuff happens.... years ago I had Universal Monsters checks - with movie stills of the various creatures -- Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster, The Mummy and the Wolfman.

It seemed every time I wrote a birthday check to my niece and nephew, up popped the Wolfman.... and their last name is Wolfe!

I miss those checks -- they were fun.

I would have!

I don't play the lottery all the time, but a couple of years ago, I went to a deli and my total purchase came to $9.62. Right after that I went to the hardware store and my total purchase came to $9.62. I went to the convenience store and played 962 for that night, and it came out. I won around $300.
