There's a book called "Snow Crash" where money has been inflated to the point that a trillion dollar bill is basically worthless and the quadrillion dollar note is the smallest accepted currency for making small purchases. I believe this is the future of the dollar. Which is why you should own at least some gold, silver, etc as part of your savings.
