An middle to upper middle class lifestyle working as a carpenter and maybe become manager making $75,000 sometime in the future or open up my own business. I don't want a big fancy mansion but just a nice home like this one
http://0.tqn.com/d/gocalifornia/1/0/...130_0012-a.jpg, maybe in rural Georgia near the mountains. Have a few "upscale" objects but nothing in excess. I don't need or desire a wealthy lifestyle with yatches, parties, etc. The simplier things in life matter more like a happy marriage, children and a nice home.

Right now at 19, I'm making a fairly good income working as a carpenter and am very "tight" my money. I also have some money in my savings and am always adding to it. I have no debt and trying to stay out of debt as much as possible, which is why I'm not going to go to a university (too expensive). However, I will be getting my AA degree in May. I'm also saving up money for my future children as my fiancee and I will most likely be starting a family within the next few years.

Rich ( that is a nebulous definition), yes. But not famous. Debts beaten down enough I can live on Social Security and still do some traveling. Still available for temporary assignments when work is available. Safe neighborhood, but not in a fancy neighborhood with great schools I no longer need.

Achieve a good balance of work and family life. Having much more time than I currently do to spend with family and spend outside biking and hiking, skiing etc.

Enough money to buy good food, maintain a modest car and home, meet needs and some wants.
