I think that the problem stems from the fact that they had an agreement and the co-eds are not keeping up on their part of the agreement. It would have been much differant if the op had invited them to use the wifi. That is not the case. The op found a way to subsidize the cost of the wifi and the other party is not living up to the agreed upon arangement.
Sure you are correct, it is not that big of deal. My kids found out that they have two feeds themselves to wifi. I pay for it and the neighbors across the street offer it for those on our end of the block. It even shows up as "Soon2bnSurprise Road Wifi" (Ok so I changed the name of the street, but you get the point.) Maybe they could offer to do something for the op. Who knows. Still it seems that they need the op more than the op needs them.
Next month tell them if it's not there on the first then you are taking back your internet and they will have to get their own.
If they don't pay then change the password.
