I am sorry for your loss, too. That must be very hard. I think you should continue with the gifts, only. And don't tell her your finances. She doesn't need to know how much you have.

my uncle passed away 10 years ago, and his wife still send money to his mom every year.

I'm sorry for your loss. If she has money in the bank, she doesn't need your money. Birthday and Christmas gifts are nice gestures, but that's where I think you should draw the line.
