I'm not sure if this would go best here or under mortgage (or elsewhere???) but...
I was checking my credit and see my foreclosure reports under 3 different companies with all of them reporting late payments covering the same times. I know it's from the mortgage being sold but that doesn't seem right that 3 companies can report it from the same time being late. (It was sold before I was foreclosed on) and one company shows an outstanding balance even though they were not the last company to own the loan. I've tried to contact the company before but they no longer exist so I haven't been able to get anywhere. Also my foreclosure including right of redemption was complete in Oct 2010 but 120 days late report on 2 companies until Nov 2011, is that normal or something they can do? I've been told different things by different companies...
