Here's why health insurance is getting so expensive (and will rise another 50-80% in 2014 alone). Meet Obamacare and its' regulations:
All those pages, and you don't understand a single one. Perhaps you would have preferred the much shorter Republican health care plan. You remember that, don't you...
Go online and shop for it. You can get a few quotes within minutes. The biggest reason why you need to get it NOW, is that you want to already have it if you happen to get any kind of illness. Unless it has changed with Obamacare, if you have a break in coverage, and have a pre existing condition, you are screwed.
another 50% increase is not do far fetched , we are up 50% in our premuim costs in 2 years.
Then you are the example of a worst-case scenario. Actual total increases in health care insurance premiums were 30% over the five years from 2007 to 2012. This compares to more than 50% over the five years prior to that. Your reported experience is off all charts.
Trolling today? Or just incapable of comprehending something written pretty simply?
Neither: Rather, you were vague. If you aren't willing to explicitly state what "punishment" you have in store for those you criticize, it must be pretty vicious.

Not at all. I have no problem with not punishing responsibility. We don't disagree about that. We disagree about punishing people you don't like, with punishments that must be so offensive for you not to be willing to specify what they'd be.

Mathjak has been told that several times before, on this and other discussion forums. It seems that Mathjak is intent on banging this drum until that unfortunate circumstance is magically reversed, and that's Mathjak's right.
Tragic. You work and save and accumulate all of your life and it's all taken away at the end.
First of all, the number is completely made up, and second of all if you are over 65. you pay Medicare and Medicare pays a really large lion's share of the bills. As for everything being taken away at the end, we call that dying. It's a part of the package here.
Health care and health insurance would be much cheaper if we did not have a for-profit, fee-for-service, privately-managed system. We are pretty much the only nation in the world dumb enough to have run such a big chunk of health care this way.
Agree. Before health insurance became one of the few industries left in the US, medical care was affordable. As it became less affordable, the industry began to suffer so Obama pumped it up probably due to their support for his election campaign.

Despite in many cases having irresponsibly bought transparently phony propaganda by the carload, those who demand we punish "laziness" and reward "responsibility" somehow manage always to put themselves into the latter category.
