Why do you assume a refund? I never get a refund. I file my taxes just before or on the due date.

I am not in a hurry to file.

I don't pay or, owe.

I love being self employed.

Filing at the very last moment, as I have not received a refund in a very long time. Am in no hurry to pay.

Filed with H & R Block on February 17th. IRS website says I should be getting my direct deposit Feb. 25th. No later than March 2nd.

Exactly what I did. I filed on the 7th and got it on the 14th. E-file is the best!

You could have saved what you paid H&R Block, and used a tax program to do it yourself. If you couldn't do it yourself, I wouldn't have paid those ripoff artists a penny, I would have gone with a local tax preparer where the money goes into their pocket, not a corporation.

We used TurboTax and received the fed refund in two weeks and state in four weeks.

I refuse to ever use H&R Block. Did that one year and got royally ripped off on relocation expenses. The tax preparer told us we couldn't do it because when she and HER husband moved for a job they weren't allowed. Well, it was a different situation and we should've just walked and got someone else to do our taxes. We were running out of time so let it go. Never again...

I haven't filed mine yet. I expect to be pretty close to breaking even, and just haven't gotten to it yet. But in past years, I've gotten mine within 2 weeks.
