2013: I worked for a business first as 1099, next as w2.
I never received w2 and when I contacted irs, I business sent me 1099
I filled out line 7 form 4852 for not receiving w2
Even though I have paystubs with withholdings,
Now I received a 1099 in the mail stated entire amount (sum of all checks) was paid to me and nothing was withheld.
I have not received the withheld money.
Should I fill out line 8 (incorrect 1099) of form 4852 also
Line 8 is for a 1099-R, which is for distributions from pensions, annuities, retirement/profit-sharing plans, IRAs, insurance contracts, etc.
If it was me -
I would fill out Line 7 and attach copies of your pay stubs that show the withholding.
I would contact the business and ask for a corrected "Form 1099-MISC & Independent Contractors"
