What a ridiculous response. Are you not paying attention? I said in my very first comment that it happened once. Were you not paying attention? Did you also miss that it didn't just happen to me, but happened to the DH of another poster? What's your problem?
Seems that the other poster may be one of those folks who believes that if they don't experience something, or see something, it can't exist and anyone who says it does is either lying or just too dumb to be alive and clearly inferior to him/her/it.. Or that all he/she/it knows is all there IS to know....same idea.
In any case, glad the other poster never had an issue with paying his credit card debt, but it doesn't mean that others won't, at times. Other than that, meh, who cares what he thinks?

If you pay your credit card bill in full and on time every month, you're not paying any interest, so who cares? I never even pay attention to the interest rate becuase I fully intend to pay the whole bill every month (Actually I do it every 2 weeks most of the time).

Get all the high-limit cards you can. Use them just enough to keep them in good standing. If you ever need to get out of the country in a hurry, get all the cash advances as quick as you can , head for the airport and don't look back. It gives a refreshing sense of security to know that you can do that, however improbable it may be. There are no guarantees in life, cover all the bases.
