Yes sync its just that many haven't added the 7 yrar cycles that
to me are more than astonishing they have been a hidden key forcenturies . Most of my associates are daily options trading due to being retired and having the time . One guy in Hardford Wisc. has specific guru's he follows as if they are attached to his brain! His office has a self created motivational slogans ,goal themes plotting charts ( a modern robin hood removing as much money from the rich as possible),maps trends ,graphs the guy makes so much money he gives part to charities . We recommend not investing from August through November in the market as it will peak in August and drop like a lead balloon on September . As for 401k's leave them alone as they will recover losses by Dec. unless all hell breaks loose an we see a sustained globel collapse? Remember to give away to whomever needs it and learn to REMOVE money from the system safely!

Lol - this reminds me of the Texas preacher who forecast Armageddon twice recently ("Oh sorry I miscalculated the first time!"). Last I heard we're still around.

Yes it does remind me to of the ridiculous prophecies but this cycle is used by leaders in the investment world so they simply
add it to a list of maps . If you cannot wrap your brain around the consistancy of the 7 year cycle perhaps you don't map trends so why would anyone pick on one designed to protect your investment unless your not an investor? I that case go away!

How about you wrap your head around the reason your guru stopped back in 1959 (a year during which, by the way, the S&P 500 made a respectable 12.06%)?

1952: S&P return 18.15%
1945: S&P return 35.82%... best year in 1936-1953 period
1938: S&P return 29.28%

..or how about the cherrypicked examples as "evidence" of this 7-year cycle? uses stock market crash in 1987... but recession in 1980? that's right, couldn't use stock market crash in 1980, a year during which the S&P 500 return was 31.74% (best year since 1958, unsurpassed until 1995). no, in 1980 he uses the bond market crash, ahhhh! I hope his followers didn't take their money out of 10-year t-bonds in 2008!

Because your not using the 7 year of math (the origins of the 7 many cycles).Yes in between are great ching chingers, but in 2008 investors saw a 7% drop or 777 billion many never recovered and wrongly withdrew depeted 401K's taking a kick in the butt of 10% added penalty. Others turned to the consevative money market and became mickey mouse investors . A few "bond"only investors lost tens of thousands only to break even in this illusioned year of a sustained false image of a recovery only to jump out of the six floor windows ( some eight floor) this September! Mattresses already on order my brotha of anotha motha! Seriously though the market peak
in 1980 saw a crash in February of - 16%! but how come not in
Fall as my big shot rabbi claims is the pattern? Glad you asked!
1973, 1980, 1987, 2001, 2008 were all Shemitah years in which
its open season for economic impact . We are not only in a Shemitah year beginning Sept 25 th 2014 but in a 7 x 7 or jubilee year ( before you get your "religious" feathers in a bundle) it equates to a more extreme loss or gain depending on the condition of the nation ( most agree our condition sucks! )
Enjoy the ride its exciting and amazing!

Best ! Openmike
