Hello,

What would you say the advantages and disadvantages are of:

1. Middle class professional life.

2. The life of being wealthy.

Thanks

Advantages and disadvantages would depend on one's stage of life, I think.

You're taking it out of context. Where does this wealth come from, and how stressful is the career in each case? It's one thing to just go into a "hot" industry like the tech industry in the 1990's and make buckets and buckets of money without toiling much. It's another thing altogether to work so hard you spend 20 years of your life missing out on family time and sleep, and with high blood pressure which increases your risk of stroke!

Sometimes there isn't much of a dividing line between middle class and wealthy - as you see in, for instance, the medical field which is usually considered a professional field but specialized surgeons can make over $500K annually.

I wouldn't have a clue.

I made my wealth slopping in the mud.........in the heat and cold.

I am very much a professional......just not what you are looking for.

Disadvantages????

None I can think of..........we have everything we want.

I am personally finding that the two aren't mutually exclusive. Where I live many professionals end up becoming wealthy (defined as incomes above $200k)

I'm not a believer of "more money, more problems".

It is more like the same type of problems but with more resources at your disposal to solve them.

Let me guess, you think we just showed up and played ping pong all day and got handed a bunch of cash in return.
