If you need a Realtor to buy a house...why don't you have the same type of service for when you buy a car?

Fact is, there are independent auto brokers who provide exactly that type of service.

They consult with your needs/wants and wish list, narrow the search down to a few possible cars, and then locate and negotiate the purchase (or lease) of a car as your agent. They can arrange financing, insurance, licensing, and any other requirements for your transportation needs.

Depending upon how the company works, it may be for a stated fee or a percentage of the "deal" ... and they may play every angle possible. A percentage from the seller, a mark-up on the car, whatever works to maximize their profit on the service.

My friends and family have found this service it's called "Oh, lets call Karla"

I love car shopping(almost as much fun as calling credit cards to lower interest rates) so they get me to do the "wheeling & dealing"

"it may be for a stated fee or a percentage of the "deal" "

I may have to remember this next time I get "the" phone call.

My credit union has a car buying service. You just tell the guy what you want and he searches it out and negotiates the price ( and gives you you loan of course).
