How did people become rich before the inception of the internet?

Hard work, starting businesses, inheritance, etc. Pretty much the same way they do since Al Gore invented the Internet.

How did you get your business to be nationally known before the internet? I'd imagine it was a lot slower back them.

No, TV, radio and newspapers can do the job too. Oh, and you'd have to keep paper documents for records.

The awareness of opportunity was less and took longer.
occasionally you would run into one and a kind person would share the info.
i find there are 100 overlooked opportunities for every available opportunity.
