The important thing is that they provide you with legit information in regards to their program and how they will get you out of debt and that they are able to address all your needs.

The good thing is that you can practice wise financial sense and do everything these companies do for that fee...for free on your own.

I didn't have to pay anyone to start cutting costs and making more money to knock out my old business debts.

Negotiating for lower interest? Never bothered with that, since I eventually was making enough to knock off a lot of debt really quickly.

Anyway, in short, you can do all this on your own.

elsapo is correct. They charge you a fee up front that they do allow you to complete in installments (three I believe) and then charge a commission on the back end. I used them back in 2003 and would definitely recommend not using them. They'll make you feel good initially, telling you how they will be able to reduce your payments.

I ended up in a worse situation than I was before using them. My monthly payments increased and of course I had to pay them commission on what they were able to "save" me. In my case they only negotiated away the interest.

In the end, one of my creditors served me and I had to "fire" CuraDebt. I was then asked if I would agree that it was not their fault that things didn't work out. I wouldn't play ball with that. All they did was cost me money which I couldn't afford at the time.

the reason we are not accredited by the BBB is we do not pay the monthly fee to be accredited.
Any one company can be apart of the BBB by paying a fee. as a company if you are accredited or not you will still have a rating. you are all judged the same way. when looking for a good company you look to the BBB and there is an option to look up only accredited companies so this is a perk but not worth the fee they charge.
I am also licensed by the state of Florida to do phone work, sales, interviews etc. this means everything i say i myself will be held liable. i am also a part of the IAPDA i have a debt consolidation certificate.. i had to learn every law on debt arbitration. our companies The Achievable and Vortex Debt Group both have B ratings with the BBB and neither are accredited companies. We are also ISO certified.. International Standardization for Organizations, a global recognition.

all this still doesn't change the fact that most people can take care of these things by themselves without having to pay commission. Buyer BEWARE.

Unhappy Curadebt customer

We have used Curadebt for the last four months to help us with our credit card bills of near $50,000. Curadebt is difficult to communicate with in that they do not return phone calls. All emails and phone calls go into a black hole and you never know who you are going to have working with you. When they do call, you cannot recognize them because their caller ID says Scripts Clinic. They take your money out of your account even though you send them a check, because it is faster. The very worst part of their poor communication is that they do not work for you. You go to your mail box and find your creditors have taken you to court and are suing you. We have two law suits - we have never been sued before. It is very frustrating to know what to do next. I feel scammed. I would not recommend doing business with this company.
