My husband puts it in his pocket. It ends up rattling around in the washer. I fish it out and give it to the grandkids.

Once every few years I will put them in those paper rolls and take them to the bank. I rarely use cash, so i do not get much change.

I use Coinstar at my local supermarket, and choose the Amazon gift card option so there is no fee.

Years ago, when I was working I set up some mutual fund accounts that let you add $25 monthly on a direct bank automatic transfer, that was a great way to save, & I really needed that money last year. I prefer to spend my coins as I get them, so they do not add up. I use bottle refunds for milk etc.

I donate my empty cans and bottles to anyone I see walking along the road picking them up for spare cash. I don't care for panhandlers, but if they are out working for a few bucks they get my support. The last one was a woman trying to get a yard service started and she needed money to put gas in her work truck. She was a nice person. I wish her well.

I spend my change regularly and don't accumulate any.

The bottle return thing does not work for me. I put my loose change in my piggy bank.

I considered that found money, and used most of it towards a badly needed vacation. Yes, I have other savings.
Good for you! Wow. That is what I call making your money work for you.

Those take a cut. While not substantial, you should be able to get cash back at your bank for free.
