So, the " recession " period , some family health bills, & running away from my financial issues from 2008-2011 did a number ( no pun intended) to my credit. All plunged my credit to under 600 ...

About (2) credit card - Charge Offs
Late Loan / Bill Payments
Delinquent Payments

I now hae steady income of ( 50K ), own my car, & on a sustainable billing plan... Yet, I would really benefit from a infusion of about $1000 - $1500 to consolidate my debt - all from utilities ( ie. Verizon, Medical, Utilities). The remaining money would help with getting back to an even playing field with life expenses - influx of home items, clothing items, & executive spending on classes / clothes etc.

I've attempted the "OneMain's" of the world, along with peer 2 peer lenders such as Upstart...None of the those places let me get based fist base..

Any ides ?

A credit card is probably your cheapest option. Those loan me type internet lending sites have ridiculous interest rates ranging from 20-178%. You'd be better off in most cases getting a credit card that could come with a 0% intro offer.

Are your utility companies charging you late fees? It'd not it's cheaper to just keep paying that debt off without getting a loan.

If you only need $1k or so, just plod along and scramble to pay it off.

I mean $1500 is only $28.80+/- a week, surely you can spare that@ $50k a year, so you should, I'd think.

Also be sure to look for the cheapest way for current Bills...try opening windows and fans instead of a/c. Try keeping heat down around 58 and wear more sweats or flannels or a robe.
Try cutting your food bill. Eat hamburger and chicken instead. Try pasta and sauce (in moderation), it's cheap.

There are things you can do to mitigate current Bills so you have more money to devote to those bills you want to clear off.

And do a search for "debt snow ball" method of cleaning cc and other bills.

Best of luck to you
