I'd keep the cars that you have, save, and see if you want the new toy in 5 years.

Expect for the plug-in part I doubt the telse 3 will be better than the maxima. Unless you get all the belts and whiles which pushes the price up to over $60K

Ok, you do not need two cars. Then sell and stop the monthly expenses that go with the car.

The stock market is not where you put the money you are saving for a new car.

When you get to 22 sell the Honda and get the Tesla if you can afford it.
