I am looking at various online banks, and BankPurely.com is one of them. The interest rate on savings at my current online bank is 0.75% and shows no sign of budging. BankPurely looks like a newcomer, so wondering if anyone has experience with them. Their current savings interest rate is 1.30%. Thanks for any input!

I don't have any specific experience with them, but I can offer some more high level info.

BankPurely is a fully-owned subsidiary of Flushing Bank out of New York state and they have over $5 billion in total assets and have been around since 1929.

Bankrate.com (which is a trusted source of financial institutions) has something called a Safe and Sound rating that they do on the financial soundness of every institution and they rank everyone on a quarterly basis.

Flushing bank has a 4 star (out of 5) rating, which indicates they are a sound operation.

I'd have no discomfort about putting my money in their online bank subsidiary if your concern was how good of a bank they are.

I generally look at the review--and user reviews--at Deposit Accounts. Here's the review for BankPurely:
