Default Question about W-4, Child tax credit

I have two kids and make less than 58k a year. Should I enter 4 for line G? The directions are sort of vague. So, if I have 1 child will I enter 2? Correct or wrong.

Please view the link for the W-4 form and line G.

Please help

That sounds correct to me as long as both children were under 17 at the end of 2007. Do you have a Human Resource person that you could ask? If you're not sure, just claim a one for each child this year and see what the tax implications are when you file next year.

I don't have kids but I've completed tax returns for people who do. I know about the child tax credit, the additional child tax credit and the earned income credit as they appear on the 1040 forms. I never knew the W-4 had a place on it for child tax credit info.
