The tires that came on my wife's Toyota were horrendous. We bought brand name new ones from a tire shop and it was completely different.

Research quiet tires. It is a metric that's used for tires, just not one that your fleet manager cares about.

You want to buy a $10k car and have ZERO savings? Are you able to pay a loan if you weren't able to build up any reserves?
I'd take the bus until I have some money on the side if I were you.

rates on a 2016 are minimal and ill pay the 10k balance off within 12 months. no need to deplete cash flow for minimal interest over that period.

That's a good price on the Camry. You're not likely to beat it even considering the purchase of new tires.

just took it in to firestone for an oil change and they replaced the 2 back tires as they were cupping. I asked what's causing the issue and they said rear shocks. fleet company of course denied the repair but replaced the tires. Not a huge deal. They are only about $100 for the set and I can do those in the driveway.

it is quiet and rides great but if we buy it the shocks will get replaced immediately to eliminate the repeat issue.
