Read more carefully. I did not say I don't pay my debts. I cited a bankruptcy code section and expressed the concern that people knowing of my FICO plummet could file a petition.

My FICO on the 900 scale is, I believe, 871, down from 875.

Your credit score can fluctuate 10 or 20 points over the course of the month just based on when the report is pulled vs. your credit usage on that date. For example, if you charge a lot each month and then pay the bill in full each month, your score on the day before the payment posts could be quite different than your score the day after it posts.

Therefore, your claim of "plummeting" scores isn't even silly, its just ridiculous, and if you seriously think people are calling you a deadbeat because of that, you should seek mental help. They very well may be calling you a deadbeat, but not for the reason you are blaming. And if you were bouncing checks all over town, your score wouldn't be in the 800s. Or at least it won't be for long. Bounced checks often get reported to the credit agencies and hurt your score a lot more than 10 points. So you are either lying on your other threads or on this one.

I'm not a psychiatrist/psychologist but neuroses and mental issues are alive and well in this country, just saying!
