Good to know. This last card was the first one I'd applied for in years. I had been using the same 2 cards for about 10yrs. I wasn't into churning, but may start now that I got a few points under my belt haha

I just got the chase ink cash card this week
What’s the easiest way to be a “business” for the purpose of getting the ink? I had a valid business for many years. Dissolved it years ago. Still have the tax returns.

You can apply as sole prop using your ss#. I organize marathon/ultra marathon trips for friends and that’s the information input in with revenue I brought in from that which was 5k last year. I have the chase business southwest card and now the ink cash. The ink preferred has a bettter signup bonus at 80k points but the ink cash has a better earn rate for my spending but it’s only 50k signup bonus

Do they validate your revenue?
I do lots of volunteer stuff that technically I could charge for. I’d never charge for it for the sake of getting a signup bonus, but I wonder if that’s good enough. I get all kinds of receipts and such that individuals give me because they assume I write these donations off. Since I really don’t have income, I don’t bother writing them off.
What if I made myself a 403k (i think that’s the term my accountant once used)?

The chase ink preferred is 80k points if you spend 5k in the first 3 months 95.00 annual fee. The chase ink cash is 50k points on 3k spend in 3 months with no annual fee. I just read online you can product change from cip to cic. If I knew that I would have signed up for the cip to get the higher bonus and then product changed

Chase seems to want to screw with us..... I guess I can’t blame them for wanting to fight back against the churners. I’ve had a few nasty encounters with them.
