the credit scores are sometimes overrated. Mine dropped total of 30 points last week due to carrying nearly $2k credits -- to pay for car insurance (3 cars) and house insurance; which I normally do every year to get points. Paid it off monthly in full before interest kicks in. still remained on the 750 range and like someone said, at this score level, not much difference when it comes to interest rates.

I didn't know they could or would do that because I remember reading somewhere they don't report accounts closed due to identity theft. I am just pissed because my credit rating is now lower through no fault my my own.
What was your score prior to the 11 point drop?
