I'm sure it is hard to predict but do you feel like ING is "safe" from failing?

Default Bank ratings

You can look up bank ratings at the following website:
Bank or Credit Union Star Ratings

As of today, ING has a 4-star rating (1 is lowest, 5 is highest), so it looks pretty safe.

ING is already a melt pot for many many banks in Europe. IMO nothing will happen with that bank. I only took most of my money out of this bank (months ago) since elsewhere I got way more interest. But that is on the European part of ING. I have them for over 25 years and have the feeling they will stay around.
