I don't know what kind of qualifications your wife has, but it would seem that she has potential to increase her income quite a bit. She could earn more than $12k/yr working full-time at a restaurant or retail store, so you two should certainly talk about her employment.
You've got four cars (assuming you pay something on the Silverado). Dump the Lexus immediately and get rid of that $400/mo payment. Quit paying anything on that Silverado, if you are. Your daughter needs to cover expenses for her dream truck. Keep the two vehicles that are paid off.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I still think that you're in denial. The reason I say that is because of this comment:

It sounds like you want to work hard to increase your revenue, but don't really want to make sacrifices in your lifestyle. That mentality got you into this mess in the first place. Until you change it, you're likely to stay in this revolving circle of debt.

Either the O.P. was a troll or this person let the forum for good after all the bad advice and ridicule he got. Five pages later, people are still chiming in.

I thought it was a troll post from the beginning. I just can't believe anyone could be that greedy and stupid, although this type of behavior is why we have this mortgage crisis. Many people think they are entitled to live lavishly.

Greedy and stupid has nothing to do with it...wake up and smell the coffee.
The Government told us to " Go and spend , support the economy ".so , we did !

There was a similar situation recently on the Suze Orman Show: that woman admitted her debt, but decided to stay in denial. So admitting it is not always the first step. She and her husband wanted to get second jobs: they were making 9k a month but spending 19k!!
It also affects everyone of us (the economy), so yeah, it's normal to get a little upset at the irresponsible people. And it is much difficult to make a budget and save like some of us do than to not look at what we're spending and overcharge credit cards, which seems like the norm. Just because a lot of people do it doesn't make it right. A credit card is not free money: you are supposed to pay it back, to pay the people that worked hard to provide you with the goods you buy. If you don't change your way of thinking, making more money will only make you spend more.
I agree that the OP should get out of that house, either by selling it or foreclosing it. Educate yourself as much as you can on personal finance. Do the right thing for your family and get out of debt.

Really? You think people like the O.P. are responsible for companies like AIG and GMC?
That's a good one.

Huh? Are you seriously saying that the Gov't is responsible for people living beyond their means?

This thread isn't much over 24 hours old. Kind of early to make assumptions like that, isn't it?

There is little connection between the credit card , and , the seller of the goods. Even the store charge cards , are sold to a CC company. The store , or mfg retains "0" liability for the debt. If , there was recourse , like there used to be , maybe , the rates , and , the loose credit lines would stabilize.
The reason they call credit card purchases " unsecured credit , or debt" , bears out what I am saying.
There will be a CC bailout coming , for sure . The CC companies are cutting back the limits of some of their best customers...that , effects purchases ,and , our ability to crawl out of the recession..

Sure, foreclosures happened from nowhere (not greedy lenders and buyers), unemployment is getting higher, less and less people can afford SUV's for some reason...
You think the bad economy happened by itself?
