Both my wife and I just have cell phones. We haven't had a land line since we bought our first house in 2004.

I have to have a land line for my internet connection (which we'll change this summer), otherwise I wouldn't have one.

DH and I, and our two teens all have cell phones, so I'm always asking myself why we have a land line. But for some reason I can't cut the cord (pun intended).

I primarily use my cellphone. The landline's for the alarm system. and It has a VM that I rarely check.

Last one of those was in 2003, when it was only local and took messages so I didn't get annoying unwanted calls on my cell. Now I'm considering a new plan with two lines and a cheap local number since I didn't change the old one when I moved or one of those pay per minute jobs.

No desire for a land line. I'm not even sure if there IS a landline around here installed. With the 3g and wireless broadband I'm getting ready to dump cable internet too and go all satalite.

I have both, when I'm at home I use the landline and when I'm out and about I use my cell.
