So, in this financial credit crunch fiasco, the piles of pre-approved credit card offers that filled my mail box have ceased. I enjoy having less junkmail!

Today, oddly enough, I get a preapproved credit offer from Chase. Curiosity got the best of me, so I read the details before shredding...

APR for Purchases... 0% until 11-01-09...after that, 23.24%

Wow! Sign me up! Not!

Remember, the good 'ol days when you could call your current CC Company and convince them to beat or match the offers you got in the mail? Once Capital One even *called me* just to offer me 6mos 0% on my current card, just for being a good customer!
